Care
Rotate head to toe every six months. The zones are mirrored at each end, so support stays where you need it
Flip the mattress for a firmer or softer feel
Unzip the cover in two sections and machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C
Use a Bamboo Mattress Protector, which is quicker to wash than the cover
Use a slatted base with slats 8 to 10cm apart for the best airflow. Adjustable bases suit latex well
Spot clean the latex only, never soak it
Safe to use with an electric blanket
A light natural latex smell is normal when new and fades within a few days

The side ventilation holes create extra soft comfort that the shoulders need while maximising air and temperature regulation every time you move. These ventilation holes are positioned horizontally to make the shoulder zone soft enough to achieve spinal alignment.
Lower Back & Lumbar
This is the firmest section, providing support for the natural curve of your back and preventing the spine from sagging. Essential for lower back comfort.
Pelvis & Hips
Creates the necessary space and pressure for the natural curvature of the hips, providing pressure point relief and spinal alignment while aiding the back zone in supporting the small of your back.
Knees & Thighs
The knee and thigh zone provide the correct support to ease inflamed joints and aid in spinal alignment.
Calfs & Lower Legs
This Zone is slightly firmer providing comfort and pressure-point relief for your calfs and lower legs.
Organic Cotton Cover

Frequently asked questions
What is the Zenna Double Latex Mattress made from?
The Zenna Double Latex Mattress is made from 100% natural European latex with no foam, no glue and no added chemicals. The core is pure certified natural latex rather than memory foam, which means it is naturally breathable, durable and free from the chemical off-gassing associated with foam mattresses. Awarded Best Latex Mattress by CHOICE in 2025.
Is the Double latex mattress good for back pain and spinal support?
Natural latex is highly responsive and contours to your body, which helps keep the spine aligned while you sleep. The Zenna core uses a 7-zone design that provides firmer support under the hips and lower back and a softer response at the shoulders, so pressure points are relieved without the mattress sagging. Many customers choose latex specifically for back support — pair it with the Natural Latex Pillow for full head-to-toe alignment.
How firm does the Double mattress feel, and which sleeping positions does it suit?
Natural latex gives a supportive, responsive medium-firm feel — firm enough to hold the spine in line, with enough give to cushion the shoulders and hips. This suits back, side and combination sleepers. Because feel is personal, every Zenna mattress comes with 100 nights to sleep on it in your own bed, which is the only way to really know.
What are the dimensions of the Double mattress?
The Zenna Double Latex Mattress measures approximately 138 × 188 cm with a 20 cm profile. It fits standard Australian Double bed frames and bases, including the Wimaflex Slatted Bed Base and the European Slimline Base.
What warranty and trial come with the Zenna Double Latex Mattress?
Every Zenna mattress is backed by a 25-year warranty and 100 nights to sleep on it properly. A mattress is too big a purchase to judge in a showroom, so take it home, give it a few weeks, and if it is not right we will collect it. If it is not right for you within the trial period you can return it, and the warranty reflects how long a quality natural latex core is built to last. Shipping is free Australia-wide.
How do I care for and clean my latex mattress?
Use a protector such as the Bamboo Mattress Protector to keep the surface fresh and guard against spills. Rotate the mattress head-to-toe every few months to even out wear, keep it on a slatted or ventilated base for airflow, and spot-clean only — never soak natural latex. Kept this way, the Double mattress is built to last its full 25-year warranty.
